Diary
Hi!
Right now I'm in the plane on my way back home to Moscow, nothing else to do and I think it's a good idea to write a few words about what was going on during the last month... Winter in Europe is very cold this year, so after my vacation and 2 weeks of fitness training we went to Miami to do the tennis preparation. I have many friends there and actually a lot of tennis players spend their off season there, because the weather is a lot nicer and you can really have a great time there. Well, it was a bit colder this time, but we still managed to do our work and also to have some nice time out with our frineds. One of the most exciting days for me was when we went to Everglades...
Hi !
It's been a while since my last post, there is lots to tell and I will try to do it now step by step. After a pretty dissapointing trip to USA I had a relaxing week in Italy before I went to Asia. It was a tough time for me, I didn't win many matches, was tired mentally and really needed to get my confidence back. But I believe that the hard work always pays off, it's just a matter of time and passion. I went to Seoul by myself, my coach couldn't come there, he was going to meet me the next week in Tokyo. Hi everyone,
I lost to Vika today in the quarterfinals. It was a close match and every game was tight. Vika was playing great today - I think one of the reasons was that she qualified for Doha and the pressure wasn't there anymore. She was really enjoying the match today and playing freely. I did as much as I could but it's the end of the year and everyone is feeling a bit tired. It wasn't easy for me to stay at my top level for all of the match. I made some mistakes on important points.
I'm happy with the tournament and my year overall. I won two tournaments and reached the quarterfinals here. I just have to wish Vika good luck for the rest of the tournament and for Doha. She played better than me and deserved to win.
I really...
